How to Play & Master
Playing Yatzy is easy to learn but challenging to master. Your goal is to score the most points by rolling five dice to make certain combinations. Each turn consists of up to three rolls.
Step 1: Roll the Dice. Tap the "Roll" button to roll all five dice.
Step 2: Choose to Keep. Look at your results. Tap any dice you want to keep for your final combination. Kept dice won't be rolled again unless you unselect them.
Step 3: Re-roll. Roll the remaining unselected dice. You can do this up to two more times.
Step 4: Score. After your third roll (or earlier if you're satisfied), you must choose a category on the scorecard to enter your points. Categories include combinations like Three of a Kind, Four of a Kind, Full House (three of one number, two of another), Small Straight (four sequential numbers), Large Straight (five sequential numbers), and Yatzy (all five dice showing the same number).
Step 5: Strategy. If your roll doesn't fit any remaining category, you must score a "0" in one of them. Plan carefully to maximize your total score by the end of the game!
