Playing Stack Ball is incredibly intuitive, making it perfect for players of all ages. When a level begins, your ball will be bouncing gently at the top of a tall, rotating cylindrical tower made of stacked platforms. Your ultimate goal is to guide the ball safely to the very bottom of the tower. To do this, simply press and hold the screen. While you hold down, the ball will forcefully smash through the brightly colored sections of the platforms beneath it, dropping lower and lower. However, you must be observant! Woven into these colorful layers are solid black blocks. If you are holding the screen and your ball strikes one of these black blocks, your ball will shatter, and the level is over. Therefore, the core gameplay loop requires you to hold down to smash through the safe colors, and quickly release your finger to just bounce safely when a black block approaches. If you manage to smash through multiple colored platforms consecutively without pausing, the gauge around your ball will fill up. Once full, your ball turns into a fireball! In this invincible state, you can hold down the screen and blast through everything—even the deadly black blocks—for a short time.
